Description:
As an Aveva PI Technical Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising Aveva PI systems to meet the demands of the Life Science industry. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of Aveva PI technologies, coupled with technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and effective collaboration skills to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of Aveva PI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations, the Companies’ policies, procedures and guidelines, this position is required to:
- Develop Program with PI/AF SDK or PI Web API.
- Design Osi-PI architecture and its components, lead the implementation for AVEVA's Global Practice Group for Monitoring and Control Business Unit.
- Interface with OSI soft PI products PI, AF, Analysis, Client tools, Vision, System Access, Integrators.
- Deliver Unified Operations Center and integrated Operations customer-centric solutions.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Coordinate with internal MES teams and third parties/vendors.
- Interface platform L0 to L4 systems (Control System, OSI-Pi, Standalone equipment).
- Review validation document (Desing Specification, FAT, SAT, UAT) and testing of OSI-Pi system.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Extensive relevant industry experience with a strong understanding of MES systems with AVEVA PI system design experience.
- Specific experience within the Consumer, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communications problem-solving skills, along with team building capabilities.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Aveva PI Technical Lead Engineer - OSIsoft PI products PI, AF, Analysis, Interfaces/Connectors, Integrators.
- Effective presentation skills to interact with clients.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) etc.
