Description:
De Burca Greene Solicitors, a busy growing practice based in Cork city, are seeking to recruit a full time Legal Secretary or Legal Executive with an immediate start.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Audio typing from digital dictation;
- Providing secretarial support and assistance to the solicitors in the practice;
- Maintaining client files to include filing, referencing and opening files, archiving files, photocopying, scanning etc.;
- Preparing briefs to counsel, general drafting of documentation;
- Engaging with clients and other solicitors and third parties.
Ideally, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum of one years’ relevant secretarial experience;
- Possess advanced PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and a case management system;
- Possess excellent time-management, organisational and communication skills;
- Possess highly efficient audio typing skills, producing quality work with accuracy;
- Have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team;
- Be well presented, conscientious and have a professional and flexible approach in all dealings.
