Description:
The Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and validating Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routers, and master data within Oracle EBS and Fusion ERP systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficient production processes within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and validate BOMs, manufacturing routers, and master data in Oracle EBS and Fusion ERP.
- Ensure master data integrity across manufacturing modules, including item attributes, work centers, resources, and routings.
- Collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers to define production sequences, work centers, and labor standards.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and design transfer activities through BOM and router setup.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and approved processes.
- Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities, ensuring timely and accurate ERP updates.
- Conduct audits and data reviews to maintain accuracy and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies between ERP systems and production practices.
- Provide training and support on ERP usage, manufacturing documentation, and data governance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and data accuracy.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering roles.
- Experience within medical device manufacturing or another regulated industry.
- Strong background in process or manufacturing engineering, including process mapping, validation, and optimization.
- Proven proficiency in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion ERP manufacturing modules (BOM, Work in Process, Inventory, Master Data).
