Marketing Assistant Manager

 

Description:

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Marketing department. Our busy marketing team deal with a wide range of proactive and reactive marketing activities on a daily basis. This role will give a senior marketing professional access to a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The role is varied and encompasses strategic planning of BTL and ATL marketing campaigns, sponsorship activation, event management and content marketing. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the team, supporting in the delivery of B2B campaigns.

Strong interpersonal skills, drive, attention to detail and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role. In addition, you will be innovative and commercially savvy, with knowledge of how to market effectively and leverage cross-selling opportunities.

We Ideally Need You To Have The Following

  • Ability to plan medium-long term proactive marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of the wider business environment and the impact actions can have on client relationships.
  • Proven ability to execute a large programme of events (virtual and in person).
  • Confidence in liaising with external organisations in the marketplace on joint campaigns and programmes.
  • Notable success in sponsorship activation.
  • Experience of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven track record with relationship management and an ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of imbedding digital in the overall marketing mix.
  • Extensive experience of working with the most senior leaders in large, complex organisations.
  • Minimum of 5-7yrs marketing experience.
  • Third level qualification in marketing or related business discipline.
  • An open and confident communicator, able to question to understand as well as present views succinctly.
  • Excellent and impactful written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Developing marketing plans, ensuring the co-ordination of and sequencing of campaign activities, ensuring they’re managed through a consistent and budgeted process.
  • Forging strong relationships with key personnel in designated sectors and/or functions with a view to providing ongoing strategic direction and support.
  • Working with the sectors to develop marketing campaigns that align with the Firm’s overall strategy.
  • Delivering qualitative and quantitative results on marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement in our extensive virtual and in person events programme.
  • Demonstrating innovation and creativity in sponsorship activation.
  • Developing the firm’s core strategic networks.
  • Proactively acquiring industry and service line knowledge to enable quality of service to the business.
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders ensuring input on various marketing activities.
  • Budget management.
