Master Mariner

Description:

Our client, a leading maritime organisation with responsibility for offshore navigation safety and services, is seeking to appoint an experienced Master Mariner to take command of their flagship vessel. This is a permanent position and a rare opportunity to join a respected organisation delivering critical maritime infrastructure and services.

As Master, you will play a senior leadership role within the Navigation, Maritime and Consenting team, reporting to the Director and working closely with the Navigation Services Manager onshore. You will lead a highly skilled crew of 15 aboard an 80-metre multifunctional DP vessel tasked with servicing over 150 offshore navigation buoys and lighthouses, in addition to supporting a range of commercial subsea operations.

Key Requirements:

• Must be Irish-based or available to relocate to Ireland
• STCW Master Mariner II/2 Unlimited Certificate of Competency
• Dynamic Positioning (DP) Operations Certification
• Strong command experience within the marine, shipping, or offshore industries
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and operational standards relevant to modern vessel operations
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate crew in a values-led environment
