We are a leading Sign and Graphics Company seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager with industry skills to support our busy operation.

As the successful applicant, you will play a key role in the efficient and profitable running of all aspects of the business - from production and scheduling to purchasing and quality control.

You must be motivated, highly organised, innovative and detail-oriented to meet the challenges of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to all aspects of the business including sales, production, sign installation, inventory and finances.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve business efficiency, profitability and growth.
  • Ensure that all sign projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team is performing at its best.
  • Maintain and develop customer accounts, ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Arrange and conduct client appointments, site visits and site surveys.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and present sign solutions, designs and visuals to customers for various sign projects.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow for design, production and sign installations.
  • Support accounts staff to process sales invoices, purchase invoices and customer/supplier payments.
  • Evaluate the market and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Build on marketing initiatives to enhance the Signsplus brand.

Skills required:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years industry experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of the sign and graphics industry.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sales experience and an ability to negotiate deals.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple sign projects.
  • Knowledge of Clarity Management Software or similar workflow systems.
  • Design Software Knowledge an advantage.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • A full clean Driving Licence.
