An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pensions Technical Services team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Pensions Technical Team has responsibility for providing day-to-day sales and technical support to Aviva Broker Consultants, the Broker Market and providing support to Aviva’s internal administration teams on technical queries relating to Individual and Group Pension products.
We also support the delivery of required returns to our Regulatory Authorities, maintaining an excellent working relationship with them. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop and learn more about the technical and legal side of Pensions.

Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourages flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will be required to be based a commutable distance from our Dublin offices in Cherrywood

  • Support the Pensions Technical Services Team on all aspects in a busy environment; to provide a professional and focused delivery on a day-to-day basis, to internal & external customers within agreed SLA’s. This could include assisting at Client / Company consultations as and when required
  • Work off own initiative to identify changes to processes and work with the team to implement them
  • Build key relationships with the relevant teams and individuals within Aviva through identifying and addressing their specialist support needs, escalating and resolving issues that are raised
  • Support the Pensions Technical Services Team on relevant project work or non-standard assignments as delegated by the Manager
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to be flexible and responsive to changing/adhoc service demands
  • Exercise excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy and passion for customer service and delivery
  • Prior experience working in financial services organisation in an administrative or customer service focused role
  • Prior pensions administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided
  • Strong administration skills, demonstrating high quality work and accuracy at all times Proficiency in MS Packages, especially MS Excel, desirable
  • Ability to work within tight timescales / deadlines and problem solve, going above & beyond for our customers and clients
