Description:
A Plant Finance Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our East Cork based multinational manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant to drive financial reporting, audit and cost improvement projects for a recently established green field site.
- Preparation of monthly Business Review reports including KPIs, monthly accounts and analysis.
- Utilise dashboard reporting to provide feedback to cost centre owners monthly and drive for improvement in control / analysis and data accuracy
- Prepare the annual budget in consultation with the Plant manager and the management group and monitor across the financial year
- Prepare and present quarterly estimates of the accounts
- Ensure report accuracy and oversee stock takes, investigating & closing out causes of discrepancies
- Assist in improving usage of digital solutions such as for example Procurement system, ERP
- Completion of monthly VAT, UK VAT, VIES & Intrastat returns with submissions and CSO returns.
- Submission and applying for all Grant claims with different bodies.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role required
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Competent in using relevant IT systems e.g., Microsoft, Outlook, SharePoint, ERP
- Supervisory/Management training is an advantage
