Description:
As a Plumbing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the plumbing department, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining stock levels, and driving sales. This is a hands-on role that requires strong product knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Provide expert advice on plumbing products and solutions to customers
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and liaise with suppliers
- Ensure the plumbing section is well-organised and fully stocked
- Train and support staff in plumbing product knowledge and sales techniques
- Handle customer queries, process sales, and provide after-sales support
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new plumbing technologies
- Work closely with management to achieve sales targets and business growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, plumbing and sales, and product knowledge
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to drive sales and maintain displays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively as part of a team. You must be friendly, professional, and solution-focused
- Proficient in using computer systems and software related to inventory management. Ordering, inventory control, and supplier coordination
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
