What is the role?

Reporting to the Head of Development for Ireland, the Portfolio Project Manager (PPM) role is a key and senior role within the Onshore Development and Construction Team of SSE Renewables (SSER).

Some of your main accountabilities will include;

• Progressing a portfolio of projects through development from origination to a Final Investment Decision.

• Supporting SSER's technological diversification agenda with a view of augmenting the baseline onshore wind propositions with complementary and co-located technologies such as solar, BESS and PtX where feasible.

• Leading and managing a team of direct reports and indirect reports; building a motivated, capable, agile, inclusive and diverse team who can adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.

• Be the first point of contact for Co-development partners, ensuring the smooth running of partnership arrangements.

- Ensuring all development activities are conducted to the best in class safety and environmental standards, whilst championing SSER's safety licence - 'If it's not safe, we don't do it'.
