Description:
A leading data centre delivery partner is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join its Business Information Systems (BIS) team at their Dublin HQ. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about data and reporting to work across a broad range of functions including Finance, HR, Payroll, and internal service management.
You’ll be the go-to person for dashboard design, data integration, and reporting support, working hands-on with platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, and Topdesk.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for Finance, HR, and Payroll teams.
- Integrate data from NetSuite (ERP), SAP (HR/Payroll), Topdesk, Excel, and other sources using Power Query (M) and DAX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to improve data usability and accuracy.
- Maintain and monitor report refreshes, data pipelines, shared datasets, and user access.
- Provide second-line support for Power BI issues escalated by junior BIS team members.
- Apply and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) for data privacy and access control.
- Own the report lifecycle, including performance optimization and governance compliance.
- Document and follow best practices in naming conventions, version control, and report security.
- Act as a technical liaison between business functions and BIS for reporting needs.
Experience:
Required:
- 3+ years of Power BI development experience.
- Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SaaS-based (e.g. NetSuite), HR/Payroll, and OData/ODBC feeds.
- Solid understanding of financial and HR/payroll data structures.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
