Press Officer

Description:

This role is a key part of the Policy, Advocacy and Campaigning team, helping to strengthen Early Childhood Ireland’s voice for young children, settings, and the Early Years and School Age Care system. The Press Officer will raise the organisation’s national media profile by delivering the agreed media plan, identifying opportunities to increase awareness of the value of high-quality Early Years and School Age Care, and showcasing child-centred practice in our members settings.

Who you are:

• An experienced Press officer, with a specific and evidenced focus on media relations and a 3rd level qualification in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or similar
• Ability to take initiative and potential to provide leadership when needed
• A communicator, organiser, and team player—bring your best to every task!
