Description:

We are looking for a talented Senior Manager to lead our New Product Development (NPD) team. The team will strive to bring innovative therapeutic and diagnostic home care devices supplied via pharmacy and healthcare professionals to benefit the wellbeing of our customers in Ireland, UK, Middle East and our many export markets.

This role involves project-managing opportunities from customer feedback to business case approval, to product specification design, working closely with our OEM partners. Through the Lean Design Thinking process the team will bring these new products to production, while working within the CE regulatory guidelines and to prepare our newly developed products for market launch.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the NPD team to bring new products to market by reviewing proposed product requirements, product development programmes and preparing return-on-investment analysis.
• Assess market competition by comparing the company’s products to those of our competitors.
• Provide information to Senior Management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales reports and analyses for each product category
• Determine buyer personas for products and customers’ needs by conducting market research
• Work with Marketing and Sales Managers to develop product sales strategies and sales materials for product promotion
• Work with Purchasing to help determine product pricing by utilising market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing special/customised orders.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing networks.
