Product Owner

Description:

Lastel have partnered with a leading financial services provider based in Limerick, Ireland who are currently expanding and looking for a Product Owner to join their team.

As a Product Owner you will be joining their Product team and helping them build industry leading tools and products on their SAAS platform. In this role, you will be working in an Agile dev team across an array of applications and tools. 

What you will be doing: 

• You will be a Product Owner for multiple development teams across various products 

• Manage a product backlog according to ROI -JIRA & Azure DevOps

• Maintain user stories and bugs by working closely with the development team and key stakeholders

• Reduce impediments affecting successful completion of development goals 

• Regularly provide status updates to stakeholders regarding the delivery of new functionality and fixes

• Working closely and reporting to the Senior Product Owner

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on key development initiatives

• Follow Agile/Scrum best practices and trends in technology and development methodologies

What you need: 

• 3+ years of Product Owner experience in an Agile development environment

• Ability to work with stakeholders

• Knowledge of Agile process and principles, Scrum and Kanban

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience of working with JIRA, Azure DevOps and Slack

• SQL and SSMS experience are nice to have

• Significant problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience of working in a financial services industry is an advantage 

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
