Description:
To assist Senior QS to manage procurement of subcontractors, payment of subcontractors, management of Conack Construction resources and maximisation of Conack Construction margin on each project contract.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist Senior QS in the cost management of multiple projects allocated by Commercial Director
- Management and direction of Junior QS if allocated by Commercial Director
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor with the task of procuring all required subcontractors or Conack Construction resources necessary for the carrying out of all works.
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor with the task of managing all payments to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with company systems and procedures.
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor in all paperwork required in the running and management of his project and for the correspondence required with the Head Office.
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure that all variation accounts are dealt with in such a manner so that they are paid as the project progresses.
- Assist Estimating where required.
Skills And Experience
- Degree qualified.
- At least 1-3+ years’ post graduate QS experience.
- Experience in preparing valuations, variation management, CVR reporting, payment certificates.
- Experience in apartment developments would be preferred but not essential.
- Reporting to commercial manager
