Market Leading Irish, Plumbing & Heating Supplies Company in Santry, Dublin.

Excellent opportunity to join our experienced and expanding Purchasing Department at the company’s HQ.

Full 18-month purchasing systems induction training program with experienced mentors.

Role Entails:

  • Raise supplier purchase orders
  • Administrative support maintaining purchasing/supplier price files & terms
  • Update system with accurate PO due dates and pricing
  • Follow up of outstanding PO’s
  • Manage urgent stock demands
  • Procuring and monitoring freight services to ensure they are competitive
  • Stock inventory control
  • Purchase order requirement forecasts
  • 'Return to Vendor' process
  • Attend monthly stock meetings with management

 

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Stock Control
  • A third level qualification; preferably in Purchasing or Business
  • Excellent user of Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Excel
  • Willing to learn and show initiative
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Occasional national & international travel may be required

Salary & Remuneration Package Negotiable based on experience and potential.
