Revenue & Billing Manager

This is a newly created role designed to take ownership of the end-to-end revenue and billing lifecycle. Sitting within a growing finance function, you will be the key link between contracts, billing and revenue recognition, ensuring commercial terms are translated accurately into systems and invoices. The role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape scalable contract-to-cash processes across a dynamic, expanding organisation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on ownership while influencing how commercial operations are structured and scaled.

 

Who should apply?

This role will suit someone with strong experience across revenue operations and billing, combined with a practical, systems-focused mindset. Ideal backgrounds include:

• 4–6 years’ experience in revenue operations, billing, contract management or commercial finance roles

• Strong hands-on billing experience within a tech, services or project-based environment

• Experience supporting or leading finance, ERP or CRM system implementations

• Solid understanding of contract structures and how they translate into billing and revenue

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance and operational systems

• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders

 

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will partner closely with Finance, Legal, Sales and Operations to ensure robust revenue and billing governance:

• Contract Oversight – Review and manage contract documentation to ensure billing and revenue terms are clearly defined and executable

• Billing Ownership – Own billing setup, accuracy and timing in line with contractual terms

• Revenue Recognition – Work with finance to ensure billing and contracts align with revenue recognition policies

• Systems & Implementation – Support and improve ERP/CRM setup relating to contracts, billing and revenue data

• Process Improvement – Identify and implement improvements across contract-to-cash workflows

• Commercial Support – Act as a bridge between sales, legal and finance to ensure commercial terms are operationally viable

• Integration Projects – Support the integration of billing and contract processes from newly acquired businesses

• Reporting – Provide insights on billing performance, revenue pipeline and contract compliance
