Applications are open for the role of Revenue Cycle Executive in the Finance Department.
This role will support best practice across the role by combining proactive pre-admission financial clearance with effective post-treatment account management. The post holder will apply insurer rules and SVPH financial policies consistently, maintain accurate records and contribute to the timely conversion of hospital activity into cash.
Essential
- Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
- Strong administrative, organisational and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong follow-through and sound judgement.
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, accounts receivable, insurance or credit control environment.
- Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and professional conduct requirements.
Desirable
- Relevant business, finance, healthcare administration or credit control/AR qualification or experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous hospital or healthcare experience.
- Experience of private medical insurance validation or medical claims.
- Experience of debt recovery, account reconciliation or payment-plan management.
- Knowledge of private medical insurer rules and processes.
- Understanding of hospital billing and patient administration systems, such as iPIMS or equivalent.
- Awareness of relevant consumer and regulatory requirements.
