The Sales Associate is an excellent opportunity to start an exciting career in sales within the financial services sector and develop both the knowledge and skills required to excel in this industry.
You will be responsible for supporting the new client acquisition process for Carraighill and partnering with the research team to create and drive revenue growth.
As a Sales Associate you will:
- Research and gather information on target clients, identifying appropriate contacts and potential sales opportunities.
- Secure and schedule introductory meetings with target clients.
- Prepare content for new business meetings and assist on client presentations.
- Support senior sales and research team colleagues in developing and managing relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers and sovereign wealth funds.
- Monitor market trends and keep both internal teams informed of relevant developments.
- Contribute to internal discussions on investment themes (interest rates, inflation, debt, political risks, equity & credit markets, real estate, company specifics and more).
- Contribute to the generation of equity ideas based on market research and analysis.
- Effectively communicate research findings to new and prospective clients.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
- An undergraduate degree or higher (the role is open to all disciplines, but an understanding of economics, business, accounting, finance is beneficial).
- A strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
- A keen interest in markets, investing, and a curious mind.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
- Excellent research and investigative abilities.
- Ability to drive urgency and achieve measurable goals.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
