My client, a global manufacture, seek to hire a Sales Director for Europe.
The successful candidate will lead the sales & business development function, with the focus being on increasing market share.
This will role require extensive travel across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Expand into new markets and product areas through acquisitions, partnerships, or developing new products.
- Create plans to grow our business in Europe and worldwide.
- Develop strategies for new products and make sure they succeed in the market.
- Lead and support the European sales team.
- Study and track market share across EMEA.
- Report on sales growth, new markets, and product strategies to senior leaders.
Commercial Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategy.
- Drive growth in product sales.
- Work with the sales team on marketing campaigns and combined sales approaches.
- Coach and support sales managers and their teams.
- Build strong relationships with customers and distribution partners.
- Use customer and market data to spot new opportunities and measure results.
- Explore new sectors and regions that match company goals.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasts and strong sales pipelines.
- Support contract negotiations and make sure deliveries are on time.
- Help improve service quality and expand offerings for customers.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to make sure operations meet customer needs.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of sales and marketing leadership in manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the fastener industry is a big plus.
- Success in leading international teams and achieving growth.
- Must be willing to travel often across Europe.
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
