Maintain and develop business with existing accounts through effective account management to ensure targets are met.
Generate and develop new business through Lead Generation and managing prospects through a sales process to win new business to ensure all targets are met.
Plan and schedule your sales activities to achieve sales targets and expansion of the customer base.
Be a product expert, providing product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
Produce/analyse sales information giving updates on tracking to budget to Sales Team / Leadership Team.
Attend and participate at Trade Shows and other promotional events building brand awareness to grow sales.
Develop an understanding of the market through analysis of market trends and customer and competitor activities, enabling you to provide the Sales Team/ Senior management with feedback on potential opportunities and threats in the market.
Identify and target new products to bring to the market which align with company goals (product quality, brand fit, competitive advantage, margin etc.,).
Have you:
Third level Sales or other business qualification
5 years relevant experience in a Field Sales role / experience in Technical Sales
Knowledge of Building Regulations
Proven ability to drive the sales process
Proficiency in the use of computer systems, particularly CRM and MS Office Suite
Ability to manage work time, prioritise effectively and work on own initiative.
Ability to negotiate and deal with conflict.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Excellent reporting & Presentation skills.
Good business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
A high level of planning and organisational skills
