Gowan Home are looking to recruit a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and scale our experienced team of sales professionals based in our head office in Citywest, County Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and cultivating lasting relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate is an expert communicator with a proven track record in sales leadership and a passion for coaching others to surpass their goals. Representing key brands such as Hisense, Elica and Sharp, as well as our very successful wholly owned brand NordMende, the candidate will demonstrate their ability to communicate and manage supplier relationships with international brand partners. You will also devise go-to-market brand strategies to deliver maximum impact and return on investment. Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Motivate and mentor a team of Sales Professionals to maximize their potential and achieve peak performance.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a robust market presence.
  • Budget Responsibility: Deliver revenue and margin targets, oversee the daily sales pipeline, accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue, and remove operational roadblocks for the team.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with high-value stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Service departments to align brand messaging and maximize revenue growth generation.
  • Market Analysis: Keep fully aware of industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities to maintain a distinct competitive edge.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Proven Industry Experience within the Consumer Electronics and Major Domestic Appliance Industry or related technology sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful experience in sales, with at least 1 to 2 years in a dedicated sales management or leadership role.
  • A natural ability to motivate, inspire, and foster a transparent, high-performance culture.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, advanced negotiation tactics, and a highly organized approach to daily operations.
