My client are a leading architectural firm based in Dublin, renowned for their innovative designs and commitment to excellence. They specialize in a wide range of projects, including large-scale residential developments, pharmaceutical facilities, data centres, and large commercial/office fit-outs. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Architect to join their dynamic team and contribute to our growing portfolio of projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Design Projects: Oversee the design and development of large-scale architectural projects, including apartments, housing estates, pharma facilities, data centres, and commercial/office fit-outs.
- Project Management: Manage all phases of architectural projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that designs are executed to the highest standard.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles into all projects, promoting energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects in housing, pharma, data centres, and commercial fit-outs.
- Licensure: Registered Architect with the RIAI or equivalent.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with a strong understanding of project timelines, budgets, and resource management.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients.
