An opportunity to join a global leading life insurance firm as s Senior Compliance Manager and DPO in their Dublin office has become available.

As the Senior Compliance Manager and DPO you will be:

• Keeping aware of upcoming regulatory changes via desktop due diligence.
• Putting in place a regulatory horizon document that calls out the upstream regulation effecting the company
• Providing recommendations to issues, which are practical and deliver optimum outcomes for stakeholders
• Logging data breaches on the data Breach Log, and risk Assessment of all reported data Breaches. This includes reporting of data breaches to the data protection commission via an online portal and managing
• Responsible for reviewing and updating DP section in all client-facing literature across UWS and UCS.
• Responsible for signing off all data protection Impact Assessments carried out by the business.
• Ensure the firm is aware of its obligations within SEAR and has a plan in place to ensure these actions are embedded.

As the Senior Compliance Manager you will have strong knowledge/experience of Irish and European Legislation and best practices in relation to Compliance (data protection, Anti-Money Laundering and consumer protection) and you will be a highly organised and meticulous individual.
