Senior Financial Accountant (pharma)

Description:

Barden have been engaged to recruit a senior financial accountant to join the finance team of a publicly listed, global pharmaceutical company.

Based in the Dublin West, the successful candidate will be working a hybrid model.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsibilities

• Managing key aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Ensuring SOX controls are maintained over these areas.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed.
• Preparation of monthly reports for management.
• Liaising with relevant business partners on timely resolution of issues.
• Financial Planning, Budgeting and Financial Analysis.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software packages required –e.g. SAP
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to influence and maintain credibility with key stakeholders.
• Seeks out opportunities to develop personal skills and experience.
