Description:
As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will be joining a dynamic, market-leading technology company. Working as part of a high performing development team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering their next-generation eCommerce platform. The role is currently a remote position and will offer remote working in the future.
Day to Day:
- Development of new features for a new e-commerce platform.
- Delivering in a fast-paced agile environment, where you will work closely with other development, design and product teams.
- Keep yourself aware of the current and future trends and technologies in the web development pace.
- Implement changes and new features in a manner that promotes efficient, reusable and performant code.
- Participate in peer code reviews, manage criteria applied during code reviews
The person:
- 5 + years’ experience in JavaScript or Frontend Development
- Must be proficient with React, Vue, and/or Knockout.js.
- Experience using modern JavaScript standards.
- Experienced with modern front-end tools, including CSS pre-processors, build tools, testing frameworks, and module loaders
- Demonstratable experience in having built responsive websites for different interfaces.
- Some knowledge and understanding of browser rendering performance and behaviour.
- Knowledge of Agile/Kanban development methodologies.
- Experience with Magento or PHP is advantageous
- It is advantageous if you have experience in leading development design decisions and technical roadmaps.
