Responsibilities:

• Support the conducting officer in oversight for the valuation function for the AIFs under management and assist overseeing the UCIT’s valuation framework.
• Review valuation reporting of external valuators and appraisals for AIFs under management whilst assisting with due diligence to external valuers and valuation appraisers.
• Perform periodic reviews on valuations of liquid assets, onboarding of new AIFs and documenting the valuation setup with various internal and external participants.
• Support with handling of client, service provider, audit and regulatory queries and requests.
• Support the running of the overall asset valuation process while providing guidance to more junior members of the team.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in either AIFs, fund accounting or fund auditing.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative finance, risk management and financial valuation instruments.
• Highly official in excel with data handling and calculations, ability to utilize VBA desirable.
• Holding or interested in holding CFA, CAIA or other valuation certificate. Background degree in finance or mathematics an advantage.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team in a fast-paced analytical environment.
