At SAP Signavio we are expanding our product development team in Dublin. In this role, you’ll iterate quickly with a high energy team delivering technical excellence designing and developing a scalable SaaS solution in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll also work together with product management, designers, and QA to ensure product success.

Our product stack mainly relies on:

• Java
• Node.js Developer
• HANA Cloud
• Micro Service Architecture
• REACT framework and SAP UI5 libraries

Tools include:

• Jenkins for continuous integration
• Git as source control systems
• JEST framework for unit test automation & X-RAY for test management
• JIRA and Confluence for team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key development stories
• You are an expert in Java development but comfortable with the Javascript/React frontend
• You own your code from ideation to development, and through QA and support
• Participate and take responsibility for development tasks from agile methodology
• Work together with design, frontend engineers and product management to deliver new and improve existing features.
• Strong input into Product Architecture for continuous improvement
• Coach junior Engineers by sharing best practices and knowledge

Requirements

• 7+ years experience working in Java development
• Excellent track record in Java development
• Experience of Node.JS / Javascript or typescript
• Strong hands-on experience in software engineering environment
• Deep knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews
• Aware of the fast-changing IT landscape and confident to suggest new innovative ways to achieve product features.
