Main Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop robust and scalable web applications for high traffic products used 24x7 in a continuous delivery environment
• Prototyping and building highly performing and flexible components
• To write clean, secure and maintainable code.
• Optimising code for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to continually improving the software development processes of the development team.
• Contribute to the evolution of the overall product/system architecture
• Mentor junior software developers.

Requirements/Experience:

• 7+ years developing in PHP with a strong understanding of most popular design patterns
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Linux.
• Object-Oriented Programming Experience.
• Familiar with MVC frameworks
• 3rd level degree in Software Development/Computer Science or related field.

Other skills that will be highly regarded:

• Experience in AngularJS or React
• 3rd party APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Google, Amazon AWS, Stripe, PayPal, Xero etc.)
• Experience with high workloads, complex systems, service discovery, AWS or micro services a plus.
