Description:
As our Senior Procurement Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement operations across our European network. Acting as the central link between internal teams and external partners, you’ll support the delivery of procurement best practices and policies across direct procurement and the supply chain. You’ll be the go-to person for daily operational activities and contribute to initiatives that drive both top- and bottom-line performance.
Reporting to the Senior European Procurement Operations Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of six, working closely with Senior Category Managers, manufacturing plants, quality teams, and planners. This role is based in our Dublin office and follows a hybrid working model, offering a dynamic and flexible work environment.
A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving Contract Execution: Support the rollout of Global and Regional Category Strategies across Europe by enabling P2P, STC processes, and collaborating with Category Managers.
- Managing Supplier Operations: Oversee supplier performance, service levels, risk mitigation, and innovation tracking within your assigned categories.
- Acting as a Key Escalation Point: Serve as the main contact for resolving service and quality issues across European manufacturing sites to ensure supply continuity.
- Resolving Risks and Issues: Tackle supplier-related challenges including delivery delays, OTIF issues, quality concerns, liabilities, and payment disputes.
- Leading Supplier Relationships: Drive the SRM agenda by identifying root causes of underperformance and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Aligning Best Practices: Identify and apply purchasing synergies and best practices across Europe in line with the broader Supply Chain strategy.
- Supporting Cost and Innovation Goals: Contribute to cost-saving and avoidance initiatives while supporting innovation and DTV project execution.
- Championing Procurement Development: Support procurement tech enhancements, responsible sourcing initiatives, and mentor Procurement Coordinators.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
- Demonstrated success in a similar procurement or supply chain role
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on problem-solving and continuous process improvement
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing (P2P), planning, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain management
- Advanced user of SAP and other procurement or supply chain systems and tools
