Senior Scala Developer

Description:

Signify technology are working with a global data streaming and analytics scale-up, looking for accomplished backend developers who have strong experience in Scala and Functional Programming.

Your role

• Develop and maintain modern cloud-native production systems in Scala using functional programming and modern effect systems (Cats/ZIO)
• Developing using AWS on Kubernetes

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development
• Strong experience in developing and operating Scala-based systems *In production*
• Some experience developing systems to Kubernetes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus skills

· Experience working with Kafka Streams or Akka Streams, GRPC, Protobuf in Scala and Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
