Senior Structural Engineer

Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to undertake structural design and calculations, work closely with Revit designers, manage junior engineers, and collaborate with other engineering disciplines. You will join a Civil & Structural team delivering multi-discipline design services across concept, detailed design, and construction support phases. This role also offers exposure to Life Sciences projects and regular interaction with clients, in-house discipline teams, and construction management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Technical Delivery

• Undertake structural design and calculations.
• Work closely with Revit designers to produce coordinated design deliverables.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines throughout project stages.

Software & Standards

• Competent in all aspects of structural design with strong proficiency in Eurocodes.
• Proficient using structural design software such as STAAD, Tekla, or Robot.
• Experience working on multi-discipline projects using Navisworks or Revizto.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Attend internal design team meetings and participate in model review meetings.

Additional Experience

• Industrial and Pharmaceutical project design experience is required.

Requirements

• Strong structural engineering background with Eurocode proficiency.
• Experience using structural design tools (STAAD / Tekla / Robot).
• Experience with Navisworks or Revizto on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Industrial project experience beneficial.
