UCC wishes to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Senior Systems Administrator & Datacentre Engineer. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations in IT Services the post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical university datacentre infrastructure. The post holder will be required to oversee and further develop our datacentre virtualisation, storage and compute infrastructure that underpins our campus digital services and applications. This position will work to resolve and diagnose datacentre and server issues and work with teams across campus to deliver services. The position will also inform the future direction of the university datacentre platforms and technologies.
