Responsibilities:

As a Staff Video Embedded Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and creating innovative features for our next-generation video endpoints and conferencing solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing ground breaking capabilities to enhance our Android platform.

Collaborating within a dynamic and agile team to deliver innovative solutions.

Managing and nurturing relationships with both internal and external development partners for software systems design and development.

Reviewing and evaluating project designs for compliance with industry standards, providing valuable feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.

Offering domain-specific expertise and leadership to cross-organization projects and activities.

Driving innovation by integrating cutting-edge technologies into software systems design.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience with a demonstrable track record in embedded development.

Expertise in video pipelines, including H264 and/or H265, as well as media handling libraries such as Gstreamer, FFMpeg, OpenMAX, and multithreading.

Proficiency in video rendering and processing.

Experience in Real-Time OS development is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with Android HAL or Linux OS is beneficial.

Advanced technical knowledge of complex software systems, encompassing enterprise, middleware, firmware, and embedded systems.

Strong experience in software development, systems engineering, or software product management.

Extensive experience with software systems design tools and languages, particularly C/C++.

Competence in software system architecture design and integration across multiple platforms.
