Service Engineer

Clear is seeking a dedicated BMS Service Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and mission-critical sites. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, optimising, and enhancing Building Management Systems to ensure our clients get the most from their energy and automation investments.

This is a dynamic, field based role ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with customers, and being part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of smart building technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and fault-finding on BMS systems across commercial and mission-critical sites
• Diagnose and resolve BMS issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime for clients
• Carry out software adjustments, controller reprogramming, and system optimisation to improve performance and energy efficiency
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on-site and remotely
• Maintain and update system documentation, including schematics, software backups, and service logs

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced BMS Service Engineer with hands-on knowledge of Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Cylon, or similar BMS platforms
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control strategies, and building automation principles
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults across various BMS systems
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear service reports and technical records
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Cylon, or Schneider.
