Site Manager

Description:

A leading Galway-based contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team delivering a range of commercial and residential construction projects across Galway.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for project delivery, working with a reputable contractor on high-quality developments with a strong pipeline of work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations from commencement through to completion

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery

• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents

• Monitor progress and manage project sequencing

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and project documentation

• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders

• Manage health & safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture

• Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements

• Resolve technical and construction issues as they arise

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry

• Experience delivering commercial and/or residential projects

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site management

• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades

• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and quality standards

• Relevant construction qualification preferred

• Full driving licence
