Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Maintain accurate site diaries and manage workforce levels to meet programme targets
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Implement and monitor Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement while maintaining safety and compliance
- Requisition materials and ensure deliveries meet specification and scheduling needs
- Organise and attend site meetings to facilitate clear communication across all stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Management role, ideally with a main contractor
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background
- Proven experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive performance and manage subcontractors
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills
- Deep technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry and regulatory environment
