Description:
We are looking for a new SMT Support Technician employee to work in 2 shifts' system in Cork
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Administers SMT programs to verify accurate placement, adhesive dispense, Screen Printer, Paste Inspection, Oven, AOI, XRay and/or Coating programs for accuracy
- Supports manufacturing production via diagnosis of placement and process issues, and applies corrective actions.
- Balances line and machines for optimal Standard Placement Rate
- Makes corrections to programs and submits software change forms.
- Incorporates changes to product revision, performs line changes, facilitates the transfer of programs and associated documentation to and from the site
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Min. 2 years experience in Operational Support, Fault finding and Maintenance of SMT equipment or similar high speed automated Product line and also in line layouts, commissioning of equipment.
- Has engineering qualification (at least level 6)
- Highly motivated, dedicated and hard working individual who is available to work shifts and have a commitment to provide flexibility to adopt to the demands of work.
- Capable of multi tasking, problem solving and working in a team.
- The individual must be a good timekeeper & communicator who can articulate problems and provide solutions for same and is prepared to make responsible decisions when the need arises in the interests of the Business.
