Description:
One of my leading clients is a European Public Sector Institution, and they are looking for a SysOps Engineer to be responsible for the solution at operation/runtime, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and optimal performance.
Your career must be oriented in the DevOps field, in activities such as infrastructure as code (IaC) management, installation and configuration of DevOps tools for CI/CD, automation and observability. It is important that you have experience as a systems administrator, but always with an automation and DevOps focus.
Other Key Tasks:
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
- Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.
- Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
- Analyse current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve.
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience. Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.
- Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges.
Key Experience:
- Experience with tools and CI/CD building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in managing Infrastructure as a code with tools like Terraform.
- Experience in automation with tools such as Ansible.
- Experience with multiple Operating Systems, with skills in Linux.
- Experience in the field of observability with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
- Understanding of best system security measures.
- Experience analysis computer software and hardware.
