    The Role:
We are searching for a Technical Salesperson to join our sales team.
Initially the Technical Salesperson will focus on our existing Customer base, identifying opportunities for existing Customers to purchase additional products and/or services.
We expect that a successful Technical Salesperson will develop an excellent rapport with our existing Customers. They will be knowledgeable about how to deploy our product/services, how to articulate the benefit for the Customer and will have the ability to break down technical terminology and articulate business benefits to non-technical clients.
Responsibilities will include recommending and demonstrating products and preparing commercial proposals and quotations.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
	- Identifying and priority the sales opportunities with the existing Customer base.
 
	- Learning the background history of our business with each Customer.
 
	- Organising sales visits.
 
	- Establishing the needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products/services.
 
	- Giving demonstrations, training and presentations to help clients discover and understand
	products/services. 
	- Supporting the on-boarding of Partners and Resellers.
 
	- Explaining technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
 
	- Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
 
	- Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
 
	- Keeping customers informed about new products and services.
 
	- Compiling proposals and quotations.
 
	- Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions.
 
	- Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
 
	- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
 
	- Reporting to management on sales performance.
 
	- Updating records of Customer interactions and contact information.
 
Skills & Requirements:
	- A third-level degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field.
 
	- A minimum of two years of sales experience, preferably selling technical products to business customers.
 
	- A knowledge of high volume manufacturing operations.
 
	- Basic technical understanding of the functionality and deployment of our products.
 
	- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate with and influence others
 
	- Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients – and relay this to colleagues
 
	- Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals.
 
	- Team-working skills and commercial awareness.
 
	- Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
 
	- A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.
