User Experience Designer

The Core Platform team is shaping the foundational capabilities that power every experience within Genesys Cloud. We design the systems, frameworks, and configuration models that enable scalable, secure, and extensible solutions across products and regions. Our work spans identity and access management, organizational structures, data models, and cross-product consistency—ensuring the platform can support enterprise complexity while remaining intuitive and reliable.

We’re a focused team building the architecture that makes innovation possible. Our work integrates with Genesys’ AI and Experience Orchestration capabilities to ensure automated and human-led processes work together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Execution: Independently execute designs for defined projects, leveraging user research insights and aligning closely with project goals.
• Collaboration & Communication: Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale, working with Senior and Staff UX Designers to align stakeholders around solutions and collaborating directly with product management and engineering.
• Discovery and Definition: Participate in UX discovery efforts on projects, confidently executing tasks related to UX strategy and definition, such as conducting competitor audits and crafting user stories.
• Continuous Learning: Proactively seek mentorship and training opportunities, contributing actively to the team's collective knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• 2 – 4 years of experience in user experience design, demonstrated ability to independently execute designs.
• Proficiency with Figma and low-fi collaboration tools like Miro/FigJam.
• Experience with various UX research methodologies.
• Ability to connect design to product strategy and user needs.
• Good communication skills, capable of clearly presenting design ideas and gathering feedback across teams.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field.
