Verification Manager

 

Description:

Join a forward thinking semiconductor team in Dublin – with a start-up attitude, working within a large scale company.

You will be managing and leading a team of verification engineers, using new and existing methodologies and processes. Introducing new ways of thinking, and leveraging tools and systems – like AI & automation.

This would suit a senior engineer with previous management experience – or has already worked as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or Project Lead.

The job still involves being hands-on, plus mentoring engineers, overseeing code reviews etc.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role
 

  • Lead and manage a team of verification engineers to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement verification strategies and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Track and report project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to management
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the verification team
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise
  • Develop and manage budgets for verification projects and initiatives

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed As a Senior Manager Verification, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. You communicate openly, clearly, and coherently, and inspire others and help them succeed.
 

  • A degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in digital verification, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • A proven track record of successfully developing and implementing verification methodologies and strategies
  • Expert-level knowledge of SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM, and verification EDA tools
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a strong ability to analyse, solve problems, make decisions, and manage projects effectively, driving critical thinking and results
  • Availability to travel
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
