Virtualization Consultant

Description:

• 5+ years of experience in VDI architecture and implementation
• Strong technical knowledge of VDI solutions such as VMware Horizon, Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, and VDI hardware
• Experience with VDI infrastructure design, implementation, and management
• Experience with VDI automation and scripting using PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Knowledge of VDI security, compliance, and regulatory requirements

The role:

• Design and implement virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions using industry best practices
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation for VDI solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure VDI infrastructure is integrated and aligned with overall technology strategy and business objectives
• Develop and maintain technical standards, policies, and procedures for VDI infrastructure
• Provide technical support for VDI infrastructure, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure VDI solutions meet security and compliance requirements
• Evaluate new VDI technologies and products, and make recommendations on their implementation and integration into the existing infrastructure
