Description:
This is a dynamic and varied role that combines technical design, implementation, and senior-level support across VMware SDDC and associated technologies.
The role operates within a 24x7 managed service environment, providing remote support and maintenance for multiple client environments. You will work closely with architects and clients, owning complex solutions from design through to deployment, with minimal supervision.
Your Responsabilities
- Provide senior technical support across multiple customer environments within managed services and project engagements.
- Manage high-priority incidents and escalations, ensuring SLA compliance and performing root cause analyses for critical issues.
- Proactively monitor customer environments to preemptively resolve issues.
- Engage in systems management activities including patching, upgrades, and performance tracking.
- Design and deliver enterprise-level systems management and monitoring solutions.
- Serve as a technical design resource for client engagements and new business opportunities.
- Develop customer technical proposals, solution specifications, and low-level design documents.
- Deliver solutions onsite and produce full technical documentation meeting internal and client standards.
- Participate actively in the creation of capacity plans and high-availability designs.
- Maintain excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, throughout all engagements.
Your Experience And Requirements
- VCP and/or VCAP certification required.
- 4+ years' experience in data storage and management, including FC and iSCSI SAN implementation.
- 3+ years’ experience with Veeam and/or other backup solutions.
- Proven experience designing and implementing virtual and physical infrastructure solutions.
- High Availability design and implementation.
- Experience with cloud management tools (highly desirable).
