Analog Layout Lead

Description:

This is an opportunity for an experienced IC Layout Engineer to join a well-established semiconductor company working on the design and production of integrated circuit-based systems. These are used within a variety of applications including defence and mobile.

Throughout this role, you will work as an IC Layout Lead based on their Dublin site.

If you are a successful candidate you will help to design RF products for applications in cellular handsets.

The responsibilities of the IC Layout Lead Engineer include:

• Mentor junior layout engineers.
• Working on the full RF and analog layout design.
• Layout size optimization of SOI and CMOS.
• Have responsibility for the data documentation, data archiving and tape out process.
• Work on the floor planning of highly integrated RF circuits.
• Work on the analog, RF, and microwave integrated circuits for a variety of markets.

Additional qualifications include:

• Relevant experience in a mid-level design role.
• MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or relevant
• Experience with CAD layout tools
• A clear understanding of process technologies such as CMOS.
