Description:
Ana Liffey Drug Project is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the newly established Housing First Multidisciplinary Health Team in Dublin. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of accessible, person-centred, and trauma-informed care to individuals living in Housing First tenancies across the Dublin Region.
As the ADON, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight for a multidisciplinary team (nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists).
- Ensure fidelity to the Housing First model and uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.
- Oversee care planning, referrals, and final clinical decision-making.
- Foster strong partnerships with HSE, Dublin Regional Homeless Executive, and other agencies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and contribute to service development and innovation.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration with NMBI (General Nurse Division).
- Minimum 7 years post-registration experience, including 3 years in a nurse management role.
- Level 8 qualification in nursing or related field and / or a post-registration management qualification.
- Proven leadership, clinical governance, and risk management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working with socially excluded or marginalised groups.
