Building Services Engineer

GradSecure is currently looking to recruit a Building Services Engineer (Junior - Intermediate level) to join our client in County Kildare. Within this role you be responsible for the mechanical design and drafting for commercial and domestic projects.

Our client is mechanical service contractor who is involved with domestic and commercial residential schemes along with the energy retrofit sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing 2D/3D mechanical CAD drawings from engineer’s sketches.
• Job cost estimation
• Management of CAD files, drawing registers and drawing issue sheets.
• Preparing HVAC design drawings from HVAC design sketches.
• Proactive participation in the design process to maintain quality standards
• Assisting project engineers with technical submittals, O&M manuals & document control
• Identify and resolve coordination issues
• Extracting information from drawing revisions for pricing.
• Assist in the BCAR certification process

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified preferably in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent experience in AutoCad
• Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to complete tasks
• Full clean driving license
