As Centre Manager, you will oversee daily operations, support staff, and maintain a warm, child‑centred environment. You will play a key role in ensuring quality practice, strong parent partnerships, and a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, supporting, and developing a team of Early Years Educators and Room Leaders
- Creating a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment
- Encouraging continuous improvement, reflective practice, and high standards
- Ensuring compliance with Tusla regulations, Aistear, and Síolta
- Managing staff scheduling, ratios, routines, and room coordination
- Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and families
- Communicating clearly and effectively with staff, families, and management
- Promoting a community‑focused atmosphere where everyone feels valued
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone with both the skills and the attitude to lead a thriving centre.
You should be:
- Currently working in the Early Years sector (Room Leader, Deputy Manager, Manager, or similar)
- Confident in managing and motivating teams with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
- Someone who genuinely wants to do their job well, improve, and contribute positively
- A person who enjoys working in a community‑based environment with strong values
- An excellent communicator, able to build relationships and handle challenges calmly
- Knowledgeable in child development, curriculum planning, and quality frameworks
Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 7 in Early Childhood Education (Level 8 preferred)
- Proven leadership experience within the sector
