We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Architect experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage complex cloud-based infrastructure and applications on Azure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and technologies and provide recommendations for improving existing solutions.
- Develop and implement cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that cloud solutions are properly integrated with on-premise systems and data.
- Monitor and optimise cloud performance, resource utilisation, and cost.
- Mentor junior cloud engineers and provide guidance on best practices for cloud deployment and management.
Experience Required
- At least 5 years of architect experience in cloud computing.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and management tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of cloud security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
