Description:
Realtime Recruitment are on the lookout for an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to lead our new Cloud Platform team. This opportunity presents a distinctive chance to oversee and execute a vital component of our client's cloud vision and strategy, taking charge of the expansion and continuous functioning of the Cloud platform.
This is a daily-rate contract position with excellent wfh/remote flexibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure accountability for production environment and operations teams, including reporting and platform audit
- Define and communicate platform team strategy and vision for innovation aligned with key business and IT goals
- Foster strong relationships with business units and IT teams, including Engineering and Architecture
- Design and deliver key technical capabilities for platform enhancement from concept to ongoing support
- Manage AWS environment for architecture, development, incident management, and continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be AWS Certified
- 5+ Years managing Cloud Platform team
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, agile methodologies, and associated tooling
- Understanding of AWS, automation concepts, and Engineering practices, with expertise in DevOps/CI/CD and integration solutions
- Proven experience in working with large systems requiring scalability
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and gain consensus
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach, motivating and inspiring team members, peers, stakeholders, and executives
